We provide technical consulting and implementation of DevOps and Systems Administration. We can help re-architect your systems environment to be as efficient as possible.

Infrastructure as Code/Configration Management

DevOps Configuration Management products

We typically work with these and offer development of a brand new setup, can work with your existing setup, and provide ongoing maintenance on):

Chef

Puppet

Ansible

We work with a wide range of tools; these are just examples of what we typically recommend for on-prem or non-docker based systems.

Containers

Docker- We support container building, uploading to cloud services, local Docker installations, and migrating on-prem/non-containerized applications into containers.

Migrating from non-containerized applications into Docker requires re-architecting how things are run; standard containers run a single application inside them, that’s it – so workloads that typically had a few services running on a single system need to be redesigned to split this workload into multiple containers.

Containers are excellent as they are very minimal, and once image creation is a part of your CI/CD pipeline (we can help set that up too), you can be deploying new containers constantly with each application update. This provides you full version control of the container, and if a new version has issues in testing, you can easily re-deploy a previous container image and get back to a working state.

  • Stats: StatsD, DataDog, we can help grab metrics out of your applications to visualize/search how your application is actually working from the start of a request to completion, including all services involved in the transaction.
  • Elastic Stack/ELK 5,6,7.x+ Setup, Development: Clustered ElasticSearch and custom web search applications to search your logs and stats, Logstash development for a complete logging pipeline, Kibana tying it all together with Visualizations and all that Kibana 7.x offers
  • Project/Issue Management Setup – JIRA, ServiceDesk, Confluence + open source options
  • Security – Compliance, setup of active penetration scanning of your systems, build security into your CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipelines/processes
  • Log Management – Easily view your logs on the web, view trends, searchable logs and system metrics/data
  • Monitoring – modernize your monitoring; build monitoring into your application delivery processes as you go, not as an afterthought
